Kiepura Festival returns to Krynica-Zdrój

In summer, Krynica-Zdrój will once again resonate with the music of the greatest opera and operetta stages. The Jan Kiepura Festival, held for the 58th time, is one of the most important opera music events in Poland – a week-long celebration of art that has attracted music lovers from all over the country for years.

A week full of music

This year's edition will be opened by the concert "Say Hello to Kiepura" performed by the Krynica Spa Orchestra, featuring Łukasz Gaj and Ewelina Szybilska. In the following days, the audience will hear, among others, concerts dedicated to the works of Zbigniew Wodecki, pieces by Strauss and Moniuszko, as well as the monumental "Aida" by Verdi.

In the program:

Chamber concerts and themed evenings (Spanish, patriotic)
Operetta performance "The Land of Smiles"
Concert of four tenors "Fall in Love with Kiepura"
Proposals for children: "Adventures of Matołek the Billy-Goat" and "Dratewka the Shoemaker"
Final gala "Say Goodbye to Kiepura" featuring the Silesian Opera in Bytom
